Our Story: Solving a Painful, Overlooked Problem in Men’s Health
Peter Sershon, MD is a board-certified urologic surgeon. He is recognized for his expertise in robotic surgery.
Dr. Sershon’s deep clinical experience and direct feedback from patients led to the creation of a product he felt was missing from modern post-operative care.
Why We Created the Tcup
For years, Dr. Sershon noticed a recurring problem among his patients recovering from vasectomies, hernia repairs, and other scrotal surgeries:
“The number one complaint wasn’t the surgery itself—it was the discomfort that followed. Swelling, pulling, and gravity can make recovery miserable.”
Patients repeatedly asked:
“Is there anything I can wear or use that actually lifts and supports the scrotum during recovery?”
The unfortunate answer?
No. There wasn’t.
Supportive underwear and athletic cups weren’t designed for post-surgical relief. Icepacks were makeshift. Pillows and rolled towels were too soft or unstable. And nothing was made to elevate the scrotum in a medically appropriate way.
A Simple, Effective Solution Backed by Experience
That’s what led to the creation of the Tcup: a physician-designed scrotal support pillow made specifically for men recovering from:
-
Vasectomy
-
Varicocelectomy
-
Hydrocelectomy
-
Inguinal hernia repair
-
Scrotal trauma/swelling
-
Cancer surgeries
-
Minor sports injuries
-
Overexertion
-
Groin pain
The Tcup is shaped to elevate the testicles, reduce gravitational pressure, and promote more comfortable, faster recovery—whether you’re resting, sleeping, or just trying to sit without pain.
Why It Matters
Men are often told to “tough it out” after vasectomy, scrotal surgery, or even a minor sports injury. But that approach can delay healing and ignores the physical challenges of recovery.
We created the Tcup to:
-
Make recovery less painful
-
Encourage better outcomes
-
Give men a real solution to a problem that’s long been ignored
Whether you’re a patient or a provider, we believe better care starts with better support.
